Roseann V. Warren, M.A.

Roseann V. Warren began her media-centric career after graduating from the Media Studies program at the University of the Arts London.  She landed a position as a Features Assistant at TRUE, an urban music and culture magazine in her hometown of London. Shortly after, she moved to New York, and over the years held positions at HarperCollinsPublishers, USNews & World Report, Simon & Schuster, and Random House, in editorial and digital marketing capacities. In 2004, she received a Master of Arts in Media Studies and Media Management from The New School University. By 2007, she launched Tallowah Media, a consultancy service that provided online marketing and web design services for small businesses and creatives. As an avid independent music advocate, Roseann founded and launched Muphoric Sounds in 2009, an online music publication dedicated to covering independent artists and events, of which she is currently the Editorial Director. She also contributes to Wax Poetics magazine, a quarterly American music magazine dedicated to vintage and contemporary genres in the crate-digger tradition. Additionally, Roseann is the Associate Director of Digital Media and Web Technologies at the City University of New York, Queens College where she is responsible for the development, design, implementation, and management of the College website to maintain the overall digital footprint of the College. She is a proud member of the Prince Army that keeps the legacy of His Royal Badness alive.
